Trafford Football Club work towards promotion

Manchester sports team Trafford Football Club have battled their way into an exciting position in the First Division North table. After their last home game before Christmas, they stand unbeaten in their last 10 league games.

Trafford FC is currently 4th out of 22 in the league table. This is a very promising position, especially since the teams in 2nd and 3rd have played more games. Just 2 points separate them from table leaders Lancaster City, meaning that automatic promotion is all to play for.

Chairman John Eadie is optimistic about the club’s chances of playing in a higher league next season:

“I don’t want to tempt fate, but if we can stay free from injuries and continue our fine form, then the playoffs are realistic and automatic promotion a distinct possibility”.

Trafford FC’s home games really bring the community together in what’s a great day out watching some impressive talent. @brownygkcoach took to Twitter to share their thoughts following the team’s last home game:

“Brilliant atmosphere @FCTrafford today. Very welcoming people and a brilliant effort from all getting involved in the Xmas spirit”.

As well as having loyal local support, Trafford FC also attract a diverse range of spectators from across the country. They have fans that make the trip to catch their games all the way from London.

If you’re into sport, get behind a local club and watch Trafford FC continue their bid for promotion.
