The family of a woman who was found dead at her home in Bury have paid homage to her.
Shortly before 7.50am on Friday 12 February police were called to an address on Conway Avenue to reports of a concern for welfare.
Officers attended and discovered the body of a 36-year-old woman. Following a short search of the nearby surroundings a 39-year-old man was arrested on the hard shoulder of the M60 motorway, on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody for questioning.
The woman has been formally identified as Leanne Wall.
In a tribute to her Leanne’s family said that she was a “Loving mother, daughter and sister and a great friend to so many”.
They continued, “Leanne was fun loving and hard working, she had a big heart and will be forever missed”. The family also said that they would like to thank everyone for their kind words and tributes, and would now like some time to grieve in private.
