Tuesday Live

Another Tuesday Live took place this week, this time featuring TNT one to watch The 2 5 6.

Claiming to be “pushing the boundaries of live music” at Lock91 in Deansgate Locks where you can “catch an eclectic mix of the hottest emerging talent the UK has to offer”, this week’s session certainly lived up to those promises as we were treated to a variety of musical genres ranging from Rock to Rap.

The beautiful Katie O’Malley opened the show with a soulful set that brought good vibes and set the mood for the night. She was followed by The 2 5 6 (formerly known as Lei Jennings) who- ever the professional- got the crowd going with tune after tune, at one point slowing down his reggae infused tracks for a tribute to a lost loved one only to then bringing back the hype with a bang.

Next up the audience was jamming to intelligent lyrics rapped by Diligent Fingers performing songs from EP Smoke in the Jazz Lounge and closing the show was rock band Waking Sirena who it was hard to believe were performing their first ever show.

Tuesday Live is a great night for all; whether you are an upcoming artist looking for experience or a veteran wanting a bit of practice, a lover of unsigned and underground music or looking for a night out with a difference there is something for everyone.
