It’s been a long time coming and just when we thought it was going to happen…it turns out it isn’t. Tupac fans were left disappointed when it was revealed that a biopic of the late rapper has been put on hold.
Director John Singleton, who worked with Tupac on 1993 film Poetic Justice, has decided that he needs the telling of his colleague and friend’s life to be just perfect.
Singleton told XXL magazine that he doesn’t want the film to be “just another biopic,” and that he has to “do this film exactly right or not at all.”
You know what they say; good things come to those who wait and if Singleton’s previous films- which include Higher Learning and Baby Boy– are anything to go by, this one is sure to be a hit.
