Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has arrested two people in connection with a stabbing on a Metrolink tram in Beswick.
On Saturday 8 October 2016, around 6.50am, police were called after a 36-year-old man suffered a stab wound to the neck, while travelling on the Ashton-bound tram near to Beswick.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged to continue his recovery at home.
Police have now arrested a 49-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman on suspicion of committing a serious assault.
Both remain in custody for questioning.
