Greater Manchester Police (GMP) investigating the murder of Abdul Hafidah in Moss Side have charged 13 people.
Earlier this summer, officers were called to Moss Lane East to investigate the aftermath of a serious incident. It was at about 5.15pm on Thursday 12 May 2016, that 18-year-old Abdul Hafidah was found seriously injured.
Abdul was taken to a local hospital with stab wounds to the neck and abdominal injuries. Unfortunately, he died on Saturday 14 May 2016.
A Home Office post-mortem examination found that Abdul died because of a stab wound to the neck.
The thirteen people charged with murder, will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today Tuesday 15 November 2016.
Most of the suspects are from Moss Side, some from Manchester, whilst others are from Ashton-under-Lyne, Whalley Range and Rusholme. Only one of those charged is of no fixed address.
There are also two boys, 17 and 14, who cannot be named for legal reasons, but have also been charged.
