Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is investigating a collision involving a tram and a pedestrian.
At around 6.20am on Sunday 12 February 2017, police were called to Monsall Metrolink stop. They were called to reports of a collision involving a tram and a pedestrian.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and a 25-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries.
Police are appealing for information and is advising people to avoid the area.
GMP’s Gareth Parkin said thanks to a “rapid response” from emergency services the man is receiving treatment in hospital.
Witnesses are being urged to come forward to aid the investigation.
