A smiling woman in Syria declared that she would only wear red after her town was liberated from terror group ISIS earlier this month.
Abu Qalqal, a town in northern Syria, was until recently controlled by the extremist group ISIS, who enforced a strict dress-code under threat of death.
However, once the town was liberated Mrs Khadija Abdu Al-Muotee declared she would no longer be bound to that rule.
She told the local Hawar news agency that: “They forced us to cover our faces with the Islamic veil and threatened to kill us. Now I will only wear red.”
Mrs Abdu Al-Muotee was shown celebrating with other women in the town in video taken by the news outlet, whilst wearing a red dress decorated with flowers.
